中華民國國際關係學會很榮幸的取得第五屆國際關係世界大會（Fifth Global International Studies Conference）的主辦權，這將是該研討會首次由歐洲移師亞洲舉辦。我們預計於2017年4月1日至4月3日，假國立臺灣大學社會科學院進行。
本次研討會主題為”Dialogue Across Borders in Turbulent Times: Addressing Global Challenges”。包括以下議題：

• Regional cooperation mechanisms (e.g. ASEAN)
• The nexus of regional/international/local
• (Comparative) Foreign policy of Asian states and others
• US-China relations
• Human rights and international norms
• Cross border coopeation mechanisms concerning migration
• Ethno-political conflicts and peace negotiations in AsiaTeaching IR in a non-
• Western context
• Turmoil in the Middle East and its spillover effects
• The Possibilities of a Global IR
• International Relations in (South) East Asia
• Historical and sociological approaches to study world politics
• Environmental regimes after Paris
• Energy politics

我們誠摯地希望學會成員們能夠踴躍參加投稿，徵稿項目包括section、panel以及paper。每個section下有3-5個panels，每個panels下有3-5篇文章。提交section的截止日期為2016年4月15日，panel以及paper的提交期限則是2016年6月1日。當然我們更歡迎成員們組成圓桌論壇，一起參與這場學界盛事，論壇會議提交截止日期同樣為6月1日。

這次研討會預計將有數百名來自全球各國的學者與會，正是提升台灣學術界在國際上地位的重要機會，因此本會再次誠摯邀請，希望各位學會成員踴躍投稿，藉以擴大台灣學界在這場國際盛事中的參與度。
