[教務處重要公告] 114學年度起,取消人工加簽,開學第2週第3類課程改採授權碼加選

114學年起縮短選課時程相關說明:

本校現行之選課制度在寒暑假辦理初選,開學後第1、2週加退選,第3週進行人工加簽,整體選課時程須至開學第3週結束後方能完成,此一冗長過程不僅影響教師教學規劃,也壓縮同學的實際學習時數。

 

為提升教學效率,本校於113學年度第2學期教務會議通過「縮短開學後選課時程」之決議,自114學年度起,調整開學選課時程如下:

  • 退選截止時間:第2週週六23:59
  • 加選截止時間:第3週週一23:59
  • 取消第3週人工加簽

 

第1類與第2類課程加選方式維持不變,第3類課程調整為開學第1週仍進行登記後分發,第2週則改以授權碼加選,原有的第3週人工加簽作業取消。新制實施後除縮短選課流程外,也擴大授權碼的使用讓加選更有彈性,,同學使用授權碼加選也不受擋修限制。先截止退選有助於老師掌握課程名額,更容易決定是否同意加選,避免舊制人工加簽所造成之繁瑣與延誤,選課新制實施後,臺大系統三校加退選課期程相同,亦有助於同學跨校修課。

 

另,依本校學則第11條規定:逾期未繳交學雜費者,除經核准延緩註冊外,將視為未註冊並應予退學。未申請延緩註冊且於開學第1週內未繳交學雜費之學生,教務處將於9月11日(週四)上午8時註銷其當學期所選課程,釋出修課名額增加其他同學加選機會。

Notes on shortening the course selection period starting from the 2025-2026 Academic Year:

Currently, course selection at NTU involves course pre-registration during the winter and summer breaks, course add/drop during the first two weeks of the semester, and manual course add in the third week. This extended process not only disrupts instructors’ teaching plans but also reduces students’ effective learning time.

To improve teaching efficiency, the Academic Affairs Committee Meeting in Spring 2025 approved a resolution to shorten the course selection period after the semester begins. Beginning Fall 2025, the revised course selection schedule will be as follows:

  • Drop deadline: Saturday of Week 2 by 23:59 •Add deadline: Monday of Week 3 by 23:59 •Manual course add in Week 3 will be canceled The course add procedures for Type 1 and Type 2 courses will remain unchanged. For Type 3 courses, registration and allocation will still take place during the first week, but from the second week onwards, course add must be done using permission numbers, replacing the previous manual course add process in the third week.

This adjustment not only streamlines the course selection process but also expands the use of permission numbers, offering greater flexibility. Students using permission numbers are no longer restricted by prerequisite requirements. Having the course drop deadline before the course add deadline helps instructors better understand course availability and make informed decisions about course add requests, avoiding the complications and delays associated with the former manual process. After the new policy is implemented, the course add/drop schedule will also be synchronized across the NTU System, making inter-university course enrollment more convenient for students.

Additionally, according to Article 11 of the NTU Academic Regulations: Students who fail to pay tuition and fees on time, unless officially approved for deferred registration, will be considered unregistered and subject to dismissal. Students who have not applied for deferred registration and fail to pay tuition and fees within the first week of the semester will have their course registrations canceled by the Office of Academic Affairs on Thursday, September 11 at 8:00 a.m., and their course enrollment counts will be released to allow other students to add them.

Students are advised to carefully review the Course Selection Information on myNTU starting August 1, 2025, and pay close attention to the course selection guidelines provided by each course offering department.
